Leading the transformation towards automated farming

Agrointelli is a global frontrunner in supporting a globally growing population and decentralized food supply, while substantially reducing the need for pesticides and physical labor in one of the world’s largest industries. The company does so by combining artificial intelligence, machine vision and robotics into automated and flexible farming equipment enabling higher output and higher effectiveness, while reducing the need for pesticides.

Impact factor:

Reduced soil compression increases crop output up to 3%, followed by a 10% reduction in fuel consumption due to low weight machinery. AI targets specific weeds through pesticide spot spraying and avoids 88% herbicide use for Cirsium Arvense.

Pioneering circulation of low-grade biomass

AquaGreen is a technology pioneer within advanced drying and pyrolysis of wet biomass, enabling circulation of one of the world’s largest CO2 contributors (wet waste water sludge & biomass), into scarce nutrients (phosphorus), energy and eventually P2X.

Impact factor:

An average pyrolysis plant yearly saves 1.800 tonnes CO2e emissions, stores 500 tonnes CO2e in biochar, produces 2000 MWh renewable energy and re-circulates 25 tonnes life critical phosphorus.

Empowering the industrialization of 3D printing

DyeMansion takes over where the industrial 3D printer stops. The innovative post-production technology makes customers able to clean and surface-treat 3D printed parts quickly and efficiently – and last but not least, the selection of 850 different colours enables greater individualization and consistency of products.

Impact factor:

3D print enables local production and the potential to reduce 3.5% of global CO2e emissions due to reduced transport. Furthermore, direct production leads to less waste, as companies avoid buffer stock.

The green hydrogen revolution has started

Green Hydrogen Systems has spent +10 years developing the world’s most efficient alkaline electrolyzer with a higher capacity and smaller footprint compared to its competitors. Electrolyzers are used to produce ultra-pure hydrogen in a non-polluting manner and able to store renewable energy for later use.

Impact factor:

Green hydrogen is projected to be one of the most important energy sources of the future and to gradually replace “grey” (fossil-based) hydrogen. Use cases include industrial fuel, storage to power, power to X and grid stabilisation.

Pioneering sustainability in the furniture industry

Founded in Copenhagen in 2006, Mater was created to be the pioneering global brand with sustainability embedded in its core. Mater combines Danish cleantech innovation and circular production using waste, with timeless Danish design heritage.

Impact factor:

All products are characterized by some sort of sustainability and various types of waste are used as raw material for new furniture. For example, one Ocean Chair removes 960 grams of plastics from the oceans and saves up to 82% CO2 emissions compared to virgin materials.

Revolutionizing the artificial sports surface industry

Re-Match offers the only green and fully circular economy solution to the global artificial turf industry. The highly effective and patented solution not only offers a green-tech option to the industry, it is simply better business for everyone in the value-chain, as the cost of recycling is the same or less, than non-green waste management options.

Impact factor:

Recycling of artificial turf is a core circular activity. In 2020, the company recycled +22,000 tonnes artificial turf waste, corresponding to 48,000 tonnes of CO2e saved compared to incineration.

Enabling the electrified economy

Wiferion develops and sells highly efficient high-power wireless charging systems as well as battery modules for both industrial end-users and manufacturers of robots and other electric vehicles. But the potential of Wiferion goes far beyond being a leader in high-performance wireless charging. We believe that their innovative technology and strong capabilities can make Wiferion the true enabler of the electrified economy.

Impact factor:

Wireless charging infrastructure enables electric trucks replacing fossil fuel industrial trucks. In-process-charging enables trucks that can only be fossil-based today, while also less vehicles and smaller battery sizes are needed.
